We are back in the Hope Center
Programs are now running smoothly from the Hope Center. We now know that we can function without it if we have to, but we hope we never have to again.
The Ride:The Central Illinois Motorcycle Club held it's annual Poker Run for camp, this year raising enough to finish the basement in the new building-- $23,000! They hung out with us before the ride, and gave us great stuff like these do-rags, and really nice temporary tattoos!
NOW COMPLETE-- Adopt a Tree of New Hope. It's a way for campers to learn more about nature. Matt McCue's Eagle scout project organized the volunteers and community donations to place tactile tree markers along our nature trail. They have placed reference materials permanently in the Hope Center.
Our Respite Building is new. It has four dormitory bedrooms, a greatroom with a stone fireplace, and a kitchen area. Up to 32 campers can stay here. Learn more about our Respite Weekends.
