Q & A- I received an email from a participant and it makes a good start to a "Q & A" section. Send your email to cnhinc@rr1.net/

Q: What were the four counties the DHS grant covered?

A: Coles, Cumberland, Douglas and Shelby.

Q: How many campers do we have per 'zip code"? It would help in approaching potential sponsors if we had an idea of either number of kids or percentage of campers 'per zip code'.

A. Last summer we had 72 campers from Charleston and 30 from Mattoon (Charleston is where many group homes are). There were 13 from Sullivan, 7 from Effingham, 6 from Paris, 5 from Windsor, 4 each from Arcola, Neoga, Teutopolis, Decatur and Springfield, 3 from Ashmore, 2 each from Toledo and Humboldt, and the rest were from towns which had only 1 camper, or from very distant towns like Belleville. This list does not include the 100 campers from the Champaign-Urbana area sponsored by the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 17.
